Moonlight Mahjong is a virtual reality 3D Mahjong Solitaire game designed exclusively for iOS devices like the iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad. With intuitive touch controls, you can tilt, turn, zoom in and out to match tiles in a stunning 3D environment. Unlike other Mahjong games, Moonlight Mahjong offers a variety of gameplay modes to keep you entertained:
- Scramble Mode: Test your skills as you race against the automated opponent "Tilebot" through increasingly difficult levels. The board is automatically reshuffled when you run out of matches, providing an easy-to-start yet challenging experience as you progress.
- Challenge Mode: Compete against Tilebot in full puzzle mode with no automatic reshuffling, only undo. This mode requires strategic thinking and offers a more intense gameplay experience.
- Puzzle Mode: Solve puzzle boards at your own pace with no time limit. Choose any layout you prefer and enjoy the original Mahjong Solitaire experience.
- Relaxation Mode: Clear boards with no time limit and automatic reshuffling when out of matches. Perfect for unwinding and playing without the need to rush or strategize.
This free ad-supported version of Moonlight Mahjong features five complete game modes, including an additional 'Lightning Mode'. However, if you prefer an ad-free experience and access to extra features, the full version of Moonlight Mahjong is available for purchase.
Moonlight Mahjong holds the distinction of being the original 3D Mahjong Solitaire game on iOS, debuting with the launch of the App Store in 2008. It has been recognized as a "Best Board Game" on the App Store and has received accolades as one of the top 100 Apps and Games on iLounge.com.
